I KNOW ONLY A FEW WORDS IN BULGARIAN SO I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND THE EXACT MEANING OF THIS BOOK. IT SEEMS IT'S A BOOK OF SONGS OR POETRY. FROM THE TITLE, I UNDERSTAND SOMETHING LIKE "THANK YOU, RUSSIAN BROTHERS" (DEAR BULGARIAN/RUSSIAN VISITOR, TELL ME IF I'M WRONG) AND FROM THE DRAWINGS... WELL... REVOLUTION BRINGS HAPPINESS? WAR IS BEAUTIFUL? (YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PHOTOS TO SEE WELL)

  3. My Bulgarian is a little rusty, but this book appears to be, as the title states, a thank-you from the Bulgarians to the Russian Brothers who helped them regain their independence from the Ottoman Empire.

Bulgarians in the bus are riding up to the Shipka monument, and as they look at its beauty they recall the events that happened there so many years ago...

It's a very sweet idea, visiting an old monument and recalling with gratitude the things that others did for you there.

Anyway, some friend showed me this since I lived in Bulgaria for a while. Good stuff.
